About

Philip has held a number of senior leadership roles across the Asia Pacific, which includes five years as CEO of two Singapore Stock Exchange listed entities. He has combined a business, and military career to ensure that his leadership skills are well defined, practical, and easily communicated. To emphasise this, Philip wrote "Three Peaks Leadership - How to make it as a CEO and beyond" a practical guide to obtaining leadership roles, executing on them successfully and departing with grace. He is also the presenter of a podcast series of the same name. Guiding leaders, both aspirational and those in their roles, to ensure that they achieve or exceed their goals is a key motivator of Philip’s and he acts as a mentor to several business leaders, particularly Founders, start-up Boards and their investors. Philip has served as an Officer in the Royal Australian Navy, holds a Commercial Helicopter Pilot’s Licence and has been involved with the provision of humanitarian assistance to refugees in the Aegean Sea, as well as being actively deployed on disaster relief operations. Passionate about "giving back", Philip sits on the Advisory Board of HOPE Housing, a for-purpose entity created to assist our Essential Services workers take their rightful place on the home ownership ladder.

Philip Levinson is Managing Partner of Penmount Partners, a real estate focused Capital Advisory and Leadership Mentoring firm providing targeted capital and management solutions to both the public and private sectors globally.

In his thirty-five years in the global real estate sector, Philip has worked in a variety of roles including investor relations, capital raising, funds management and senior leadership. He was responsible for establishing Blackstone’s presence in Australia before returning to Singapore to set up their third-party placement business. Most recently, Philip was the CEO of the Cromwell European REIT, a EUR 1.3bn diversified Real Estate Investment Trust with assets across six European countries, listed in Singapore - the first of its kind in Asia, which he lead from concept stage, through IPO to stabilisation. Philip serves as a Board member and CEO mentor to clients across the globe, assisting in the formulation and execution of strategic plans whilst ensuring that the leaders of the business maximise their effectiveness. A Founding Director of the Asia Pacific Real Estate Association (APREA), he is a regular presenter at real estate conferences around the world and a commentator on REITs in Business media.
