Anne has a particular interest in supporting leaders who share her passion for better public conversations – in the media, in parliament, and the wider society.

Her coaching is informed by a wide range of processes and tools, experience in many different industries, and training in communication management & design, personal change, ways of thinking, training & assessment, coaching, and sociolinguistics.

Experience

Anne's passion for all things communication (and coaching) has taken her through 4 major career moves. As a Speech Pathologist, Anne supported clients experiencing communication challenges after brain injury. She managed a large department and worked as a clinical educator. She then moved to Business Consulting with a company that majored in strategic and design thinking and Plain English writing. In this role, Anne contributed as a Communication Specialist in Organisational Effectiveness teams in industries including mining, metals processing, health, higher education, construction, and road safety.

Taking some time out from living in aeroplanes, Anne then took a role in Quality Assurance in Animal Pharmaceuticals manufacturing, managing compliance documentation and training systems. In Anne's last move, her vision was to bring together all of her learning and experience to support senior and aspiring leaders to find their "sweet spot" as powerful and influential leaders who inspire people to want to come to work and lead them to achieve next-level results.
